In the third quarter of 2024, the navigation and maps application landscape in the Middle East showcased varied performance trends across the top five apps on a unified platform. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated diverse patterns in weekly downloads, active users, and revenue metrics.

Google Maps Go maintained a robust presence with weekly downloads starting at approximately 112K in early July and experiencing a gradual decline to around 87K by the end of September. Its weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at about 7.6M in early August before settling at approximately 7.2M by the end of the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw its weekly downloads fluctuate around the 40K mark, with a noticeable dip in late September to approximately 33K. The app's active user base remained fairly stable, beginning the quarter at around 2.5M and experiencing a slight decrease to about 2.3M by the end of September.

Google Earth exhibited a spike in downloads mid-quarter, reaching over 81K in mid-August, before stabilizing around the 30K mark towards the end of September. Active users showed a downward trend, from approximately 628K in early July to about 570K by the end of the quarter.

Muslim Prayer - Qibla Compass experienced modest weekly revenue growth, peaking at $44 in mid-August. Downloads were relatively stable, with a slight increase towards the end of September to around 27K. Active users increased from 62K in early July to about 68K by the end of the quarter.

Finally, Radarbot Speed Camera Detector showed a consistent weekly revenue pattern, averaging around $14K with a peak of approximately $17K in late August. Downloads saw a declining trend from 19K in early July to about 11K by the end of September, while active users decreased from 61K to 51K over the quarter.
